Final Exhibition at Hart Club

Unfortunately, insurmountable rising costs have meant that maintaining our space has tipped over from challenging to impossible. Whilst we are sad to physically close our doors, we are so proud of what has been achieved over the last 5 years and excited about what the future holds. To mark this transition we will be opening our doors one final time…

Event Info

Our upcoming Open House will be a collaged retrospective exhibition — Showcasing the extraordinary creativity that has fuelled Hart Club so far. Whether you’re a regular or haven’t yet made it down, we really hope you will take this last opportunity to visit the space, celebrate this chapter and say goodbye. There will be lots of beautiful artwork on display and for sale.

Open House: 10th—12th March

Opening Hours: 12pm—5pm

Closing Party: Saturday 11th | 6pm—9pm

Looking forward...

This has been a really tough decision to make as this building has played such a vital role in establishing our community. That said, we are confident that Hart Club will continue brighter than ever. One thing we know for sure is that Hart Club is not a space.

Hart Club is a philosophy of inclusivity and creative freedom that all are welcome to join. We are confident that without this financial drain we will be more dynamic and even better placed to achieve our goals and to champion neurodiversity in the Arts.

So many people have worked so hard to bring this space to life, creating an unexpected and deeply joyful hub of vitality, acceptance, creativity and community in the heart of this city. We are so proud to have stood fast for half a decade as an independent space centring culture over commerce in the landscape of chain stores that now dominate our high streets.

We are so grateful to everyone who has been involved and has visited our project space over the years…

THANK YOU!

Access info: The Open House is free, and all are welcome. The venue is wheelchair accesible with a disabled access toilet. During this exhibition our upstairs floor will also be open to visitors, though unfortunately this is only accessed via stairs.

We are located directly opposite Lambeth North train station but this station has steps to exit. Nearest stations with step-free access: Waterloo (0.4 miles) and Westminster (0.5 miles)

What do we do?

Hart Club’s mission is to champion neurodiversity within the Arts.
