Hart School has been a year-long alternative Arts education programme, designed to be free, inclusive and accessible. Designed by Hart Club it has been a radical reimagining of what it means to nurture creativity and community in an educational setting – prioritising those typically excluded from similar opportunities due to financial barriers and lack of specialised support.
Hart School Showcase features works by David Bassadone, Derek Williams, Serafina Mbasago, Shifu and Yangdzom Lama alongside many other artists and facilitators that make up the Hart School Collective.
We have been in constant awe of the work created by the artists in this programme, and perhaps most proud of how quickly a real sense of community and mutual support has been established. To celebrate this creative endeavour we are excited to be exhibiting a showcase of work by the artists involved. We are thrilled to have partnered with Protein Studios to bring our exhibition to a fully accessible venue in the heart of Shoreditch.
Our exhibition launches on Thursday 6th October at Protein Studios with live performances from Shifu and Caleb Kunle, fundraising raffle and Hart Store pop up shop.
